i wont go into gross details to keep this thread from being locked, but lets just say i strongly advise you to eat enough fiber in order to keep your bowel movements regular. not only did i pass out from the intense pain but it left me teary-eyed for over an hour. i woke up and thought id been to prison.

update

ok, it turned into a very bad situation and its no longer funny. i had to get my sister (nurse) and her boyfriend (doctor) over here and help me out...i was literally in tears from the pain. it was a horrible experience...not embarassing though, just painful. fleets enemas, tap water enemas, and a warm bath are all your friends if you ever encounter this situation. oh, and i would have gone to the emergency room (yes, it was that bad), but they brought all the medical supplies here to achieve the same results.

FYI, i exercise very regularly, drink a ton of water (or i thought so anyway, its at least a gallon a day, but i must sweat more than that from being outside all the time because i was slightly dehydrated), and my diet is pretty normal. fiber tablets have been incorporated into my daily routine as this will hopefully be a one time experience.

oh, and yay for sisters...she went to walgreens and got like 500 products involving enemas and stuff. it must have been embarassing for her.

Man do I know what you mean...after 5 straight days of Irish Breakfasts in Ireland last week, I had to load up on the fruit & fibre cereal...

Do you not exercise much? Keeping in shape makes me do at least once a day, usually 2, sometimes 3 movements a day.

Oatmeal is the ultimate solution. Too bad it tastes like cardboard. A cup of oatmeal every other day will perform miracles.

:Q I've been lucky I guess. Maybe it is time to reevaluate your diet and/or drink more water?

Did you really pass out? I read somewhere that people with hypertension should not "strain" on the toilet, and at the time I thought that sounded pretty funny. But I guess you can really hurt yourself.

Pumpernickel/Rye breads will do the same thing! I guess a couple slices and you had better reserve the toilet for a good 20 minutes! ;) :p

ANY oat based cereal will do the trick.

I found this out the hard way when I ate a few bowls of lucky charms before skiing. I almost didn't make it to a bathroom in time.

Life Cereal will do the trick, too.

no, sadly. it was much larger than it should have been due to dehydration and lack of fiber (i dont think that was the reason, but my mom does). basically, try to shove a potato into a piece of 3/4" copper pipe...thats what was happening :(

Fvck yeah it will. Cinnamon life is the sh!t. Today I started eating Oatmeal Crip Almond, has 4g of fiber per 1 cup (55g) and it tastes great!
