Update: Job Interview Went Well

A while ago I mentioned that I was being recruited for a position. I had the all-day interview and it went so well that I was offered the position on the spot. A written offer will be forthcoming soon. It is nice to be wanted and sounds like a good career move but still have to think about it and my current position future.

At least all my hard work paid off!

Remember the credo of the salary negotiation..."Is that the best you can do??"

You will have them over the barrel only once in your entire career...after they make an offer and before you accept it. Go to salary.com, and find out what your job is supposed to pay. Even if the money sounds right, ask for more...they expect you to try to get more out of them!
