This guy manged to burn a toast file in Nero 5

CDs cost about 2¢ so just try it. 😛

*checks his Nero version*

I don't have time at the moment, but at least I've got some hope now. Thanks. 😀

And yes, I'll post back if it works.

Nero can burn Mac formatted stuff. You just can't access it with a PC.

Works for me, I want to burn it and have the Mac access it. I can't even try with CD-RW because the old clunker refuses to read them. 😛

There are ways around losing the resource fork, such as using stuffit

Speaking of losing things, you've lost me.

If you translate that to "no0b" I'll understand it. 😛

Alright what are you trying to burn here? If it's not board safe drop me a PM or something.

Ive burned Mac stuff before no problem. I just used nero.

Don't listen to Kyle, he doesn't know what he is talking about.

when i try to burn mac files w/ nero it wants me to enter the file format and block size.
it also has a space for header and trailer size. what do i put in those fields?

I never said I was using a Mac for daily purposes ... In fact, I intend to immediately set it up as a SETI bitch and work it hard that it kills itself under the stress. 😀

Not worth shipping either, since it weighs about 45lbs. 😕

Rename the file to xxxx.iso first. Nero will automatically fill in the proper bits.

i did that merc.
nero wont even see the files until i rename them.
going back and reading above it looks like i need to select HFS files system.

No, it didn't show as "HFS" until after the burning process started. It should show as Mode1/2048 in the Nero "Image Information" tab (or whatever it's called)
