Thursday I ordered a MB, Intel Duo E8500 and 9800GT video card from Newegg and it surprises me that I live in Arizona and it is shipping from NJ.
I was hoping it would ship from California, I heard the E0 cpu's have been coming from there.
Has anyone received a E8500 from NJ and what did you get?

It's a tossup, really.

I got an E8400 from NJ and it was C0.. Bout two weeks ago.

No biggie though. Don't be too bummed out if you get a C0. It's still 45nm, a wolfdale and you should reach 3.6 effortlessly, 3.8 probably and 4.0 is very realistic.

What kind of cooler you got on there?

expect 3.6-3.8ghz OC then, try for 4. the duals run cooler than the quads so they are usually better OCers in general with cheaper coolers compared to quads. the AF7 Pro is a good cooler for the price. if you get an E0, expect 200MHz average higher OC. some ppl have had much higher OCs with the newer stepping but others havent. its really still just as much of a tossup on the chip you get.
