UPDATE:I picked-up some new DOC-MARTENS TODAY!

These shoes are soooo SWEEEET!

Just a FYI about Docs, when you get your first pair, dont be put off by the hardness of the innersole, thats normal. It takes about 2-3 weeks for your new shoe to mold to your foot, and believe me they are the most comfortable shoe you will ever wear.

I originally got into wearing them as they are the only shoe that is oil and acid resistant, a must for working in a kitchen!

BTW, the best shoes for working in a kitchen are NOT docs. They have horrible slip resistance.

Shoes for Crews are bar none the best footwear for foodservice, in or out of the kitchen.

I use all kinds of chemicals and herbal ingredients in my cooking. I'm famous in my neighborhood for my special brownies and the excellent punch that comes when drinking my special smoothies.
