What if I'm dissatisfied with an item I've bought?

NCIX.com offers a 15-day Satisfaction Guarantee on many items that we sell. Due to supplier and manufacturer restrictions, some opened items will be non-refundable, and any return is subject to prior approval from NCIX.com. Items that are unopened and still in its original shrink wrap and sealed, can be returned without restriction, within 15 days of purchase, unless marked as unreturnable. All items returned to us must be shipped pre-paid.

Items eligible for return are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and if approved by NCIX.com would be eligible for exchange, merchandise credit or refund. Due to the volatile nature of computer prices, items will only be refunded at the current pricing at the time of return. Software must be in its original box and unopened (still sealed in its original shrink wrap). Defective software will be exchanged with the same title (subject to availability).

Satisfaction Guarantee excludes CRT monitors, LCD monitors, notebook computers, mobile PCs, PDAs, printers, consumables (i.e. printer cartridges, CD-Rs, and blank media), televisions, consumer appliances (i.e. microwaves, refrigerators, etc.), customized computers, mouse pads and special order items.

No one else with any horror stories to scare me away from either card?

Im sure XFX is in business for a reason. One of those reasons are not for selling botched hardware.

your idea for a splitter probably wont work. if anything it would just dupicate the signal to two monitors. thats not really what you want if you are going dual display.

They're both good, but LeadTek is my suggestion.

If you have to pick between those two, go with eVGA because their customer service is amazing and the step-up program is cool too.

Ahh.. well yeah woot, I would, but I seriously don't have the lil extra bit of cash that that would need, im 15, and work for near minimum it'd take 2 more weeks to get enough. plus im getting it for 270 CAD. Zipzoomfly's shipping to canada is horrendous, i was quoted UPS Expedited $73.71!! only canada option they have, I would of went leadtek if it was carried by NCIX but it isn't and I dont think it is dual DVI, which I do need, I got the XFX, if something goes wrong, feel free to say I told you so, when you see a thread with the title 'OMG WHAT HAVE I DONE'

Agree with insomiak...Leadtek but if u have to choose among XFX and eVGA ill tell you my lil story:
I bough my TI4200 XFX with 64 MEGS because it had fastest memory (and more oc room therefore) than the 128MB part but when I received the card I noticed they used the same memory that the 128MB part but they oc it to meet the 64MB card specs...that was the day I decided not to buy more stuff from XFX...

I have the XFX card.. it's pretty nice - I'm using the dual monitor feature now, and it's really fast and etc in games. I'd say go with that one.

I have the XFX, and was also using the dual head feature. I have had no problems with mine, although I have read quite a few horror stories ( afater I bought the card of course ). I guess they used to have a shtty heatsink / fan that has since been upgraded ( Used to have a pic of a bulldog on it or something ? now it is a plain silver job ). Loud as hell, but does the trick I suppose. I was able to get it to, oh 570 / 1140 I think, before upgrading to a 6800GT
