Ahhh come on guys EZ Coaster Creator is a great program. You will burn coasters like never before and faster than ever with todays CD-R/CD-RW drives.

Nero is definately the way to go.

Coomarlin has one of the most OBJECTIVE posts here.

This is like the old Intel vs AMD arguements.

I have used both softwares and both worked perfectly each and every time - pure and simple.

Some people prefer one over the other. You really think Drive manufacturers would bundle EZCD with their equipment if it was going to "hose" a windows installation? ........I think not!

If you like Nero - get on with your life.

I use Nero now and it works just as reliably as EZCD Platinum did for me.

(Reliably = NO COASTERS)

I haven't seen this yet so I'll post to this thread. I use Nero / FireBurner /CDRWin / DiscJuggler and CloneCD,....and yes EZCD. Nothing wrong with EZCD, I use it to burn MP3's that Nero can't. Every once in a while Nero can't read an MP3 but EZCD doens't seem to care, it burns it to a CD and all my players play it without any problems. So, if nothing else EZCD has saved my a** more than a few times with music burns when all my other programs couldn't.
Use the right tool for the right job.
Thanks for the update link.

I don't know why people diss Easy CD Creator so much. I have yet to have a hiccup with the software, under both Adaptec and Roxio's names. Maybe it's the simple setup that I enjoy about it or the fact that I have yet to burn a coaster with it. I had to apply this update so it would recognize my new 40x Plextor, though. No biggie, as I just got the drive.

I personally use CDRWin and EZCD. Plain, simple, fast. Period!

Thanks for posting this link, I'm sure many people will benefit from it!

EDIT: BTW, I have over 500 CDs that I've burned in the past couple of years. 98% with EZCD!!! :p

Problems I have had with EZCD is that when I moved my burning to a different drive assignement, it stated that it could not find a valid burner. I could not even re-assign the burner back to the original drive and get it to work.
Required complete removal and re-install of the program. AT times it also lost track of the burner, even if I did not move it around, just adding S/W to a system. A re-install worked that time.

NERO has not given me any problems

I got EasyCD 5.1b( by Roxio) with my CDRW however I did not install it in WinXP due to people saying it will mess up XP,so I installed Nero & CloneCD and have been more then happy with them,I guess one day I might try it but Nero seems to be the favourite at the moment.

I use Nero, but the kids like EZCD's interface, and its always worked fine for me. I have Nero, ezcd, fireburner, clone CD and CDRWin, use them all for one thing or another.
