I ended up using my 'apology code' and stack it with the 60% off offer from videogamecoupons.org (Hot Deals thread here) and got Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and Shank 2 for free. I was like 
There's a major difference between the codes, the original 'legendary code' takes $20 off a purchase (no minimum value, so it works with games priced at $14.99, $15.99, etc), while the 'apology code' specifically says that it only works for games $19.99 or more.
The 60% off from videogamecoupons.org took KoA down to $16, so the 'apology code' won't work straight up and Shank 2 (at $4 after 60% off from originally $10) was needed for me to round it up to excactly $20. There are a few other 'perfect' combinations of games similar to this as well.
