They need to be done a regular basis to satisfy local fire codes. And besides, if it were a real fire, would you care how hot it was outside ? ? You would just want to get to safety. These drills are to ensure that you know what to do, where to go, when a fire really does occur.

A chiller at the middle school I work at burned up yesterday and took out 1 phase of the power with it. Ended up having to have the whole school emptied out in the 95 degree heat at noon for an hour. Then when we were able to get back in the building there was no AC for the remainder of the day.

Understandable, but having it in the morning would have been much better.

Poor fat people. :(

no sooner does the snow melt does everyone begin complaining about the heat.

This is Alabama, we complain about the heat all year round. Although it hasn't gotten stupid hot yet, but eventually it will.

Fires do not care what time of day it is or if you are in good shape to get out quick. In fact, most of them happen at night. You need to be prepared for it to happen at any time. Hot or cold, rain, sun, snow, ice.

that's hot as fvck. It was close to 90 on monday here, WAYYYYYY too hot!!!

Though, if there was a real fire, 94 is a lot cooler than the inside of the fire ... hehehe

Feel like its already July here.

Its expected be be in the upper 90s, with a heat index in the low 100s friday.

I suspect we are going to have a hot and dry summer.

My neighbor's corn is fucked. He planted some expensive hybrid (Ambrosia) and it already has tassels, even though it's only about 1 foot high.

100 isn't stupid hot? Did you just get off the plane from Venus?

Time to move somewhere non-hellish.
