In the rigged drawing for the car, an unnamed executive from The Venetian hid a ticket for a gambler preselected to win in his shirt sleeve, then pretended to select a ticket before naming the predetermined player as the winner.

...the settlement agreement notes that the involved executives lost their jobs.

*UPDATE*:
2 of the execs that were fired are now working in a New Mexico casino.

The tribal commission decided to license French and Parrish because the panel members believed their involvement in the contest-rigging scheme was more than offset by their wide-ranging experience.
Another reason to avoid tribal casinos :(

I don't know why people think Vegas gaming isn't rigged, at least sometimes.

yes it gets me worried if a casino with a good reputation like Venetian goes stuff like this, what else goes on at the lesser casinos?

now i'm worried about the dice at Casino royale :(

Vegas was created by mobsters wanting to go "legit". What were you expecting?
