UPDATE: Comp doesn't get to BIOS!?! HELP

I have 2 demos. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. And Tom Clancy's: Ghost recon. First I downloaded Tom Clancy's and when i played it, everything was fine.... thne my computer started freezing up, so i deleted it. Now I got Medal of Honor. I played it for a couple of days...no problem. Now whenever I play, it freezes my computer, then when I press "reset" my computer doesn't reboot! It just sits there. I have to press reset 100 times at least... even unplugging the power from my comp doesn't help. My Epox 8K7A mobo says: C1. (what does that mean?) when everything runs normally it says FF. Also, after I reboot, it says ER4()*&(&)&* for my IDE drive... I have an IBM 60GXP 40gig drive. I did virus scans, file scans, surface scans. Everything seems to be clean. Not counting BIOS, I have all the latest drivers...What seems to be the problem?

Try different ram if you can, otherwise adjust your ram setting in BIOS.

Temps were/are fine. Highest temp was my cpu... 50 celcius. All Fans are running. Now my computer doesn't even get to bios!!! I turn it on, the motherboard reads "C1" and thats it.. i rebooted it at least 100 times, NOTHING. my monitor reads "no signal." I took out my old pci modem, and replaced my video card. (Ati Radeon w/ NVIdia). Still nothing. I turn comp on, mobo states "C1" and it beeps. I have no idea on what to do.

Should I take out the battery from my bios and reinsert it??? HELP plz!

I agree with John, you're experiencing a Posting issue, just clear the CMOS, it's a small jumper on your board, usually yellow on 2 pins with 1 extra pin exposed, just move the jumper over for 5-10 seconds with the PS UNPLUGGED, and then move it back, plug your PS back in and voila, you may have to mess around with your BIOS settings to get them back to what you want but you'll usually find that that's the easiest part 🙂

I checked what the C1 stands for. "Auto-Detection of onboard DRAM and Cache." Is it a good guess that my ram stick is faulty, or is it something else?
