Update: Back to $515! Amazon: Top Rated Envision 17in EN-7100e LCD $515 shipped

from the cnet and amazon reviews there seem to be some concerns about response time (50ms), backlight life (only 10,000hrs? or that might be half life) and blurry text, but if you want the cheapest 17" out there, this is it. most people are satisfied.

i would get this if it weren't analog only and the response time.

also at costco for $499 if you live in a tax-free state like oregon. bastards.

I've had this for three months and no problems. Nice and sharp with great colors.

Good monitor, I bought it during the Staples deal couple of months ago. A vertical line popped up after I had used it for two weeks, and I had to send it back to Fremont, CA for repair, but they did send out another unit ASAP.

Indeed there is still a $10 off $75 Amazon coupon floating around. If not, get the same LCD from Staples for $550 and use a $50 off $200 coupon. You have to pay tax though if getting from Staples.

Ordered mine 2 days ago, got it today!!! I even picked the super saved shipping, but it came in 1 day!!! I live in California and they shipped out of Nevada... Looks great!!!

Hi, guys. I don't know much about the computer.
So, I have a question about the LCD monitor.
I am using VooDoo3, do I need a DVI to VGA adapter for the LCD monitor?

Thanks.🙂

Yes, DVI is only on newer cards..

There's a 10 off 75 coupon for Amazon floating around, which brings the price down to 509. Plus, Amazon is fairly reliable plus there's an RMA included with all shipments, in case you don't want it or it's defective. That service alone is worth a couple of dollars to me.

Thanks esquared.
As you said I don't need adaptor for my VooDoo3, so I am going to get one today...
But how can I get the coupon, I don't find it on Amazon..

Since we can't post coupon codes go to google.com and search amazon coupons. It's out there somewhere. All I could find on a quick search was a 5 off 35 and 5 off 40 so keep looking through the links at google and it should show up. I think it's still out there because I still have the 10 off 75 in my Amazon cart so I know it's still active.
