That's what I thought this game was gonna be like (ID guy spends a long time making a game)...sure, pretty enough, but with stale gameplay...but a lot of people who've played it love it a lot...i don't see how...what specifically about the game makes it interesting? Are the puzzles intelligent? Is it unpredictable?

Just had to add this:

McGee: I've always had an appreciation for darker themed art and music. I'm a really big Tim Burton fan and also been a fan of (illustrator) Edward Gorey. You could pretty much classify me as a goth kid when I was 14 to 20. I had black hair, face paint. So a lot of it is just personal inspiration, the desire to see something kind of dark and twisted.
