Easy on the eyes, I like that. The colors aren't quite my style, but nor is 99% of the websites out there. If it slips through XHTML 1.0 Strict and CSS3 (if applicable) validator, and looks identical on all browsers, it's got my official seal of approval. Looks similar in FF 1.0.6, IE6, Opera 8. Good job. I know that can't be easy to do.

P.S. Oh, wow, the gallery section looks so nice. Really good job on it! Your main web page looks too much like a blog/command prompt/something you'd view in Lynx, so you should make it look more like the gallery, color-wise at least. Blogs are a pet peeve of mine. :Q BTW, something's weird with the disappearing/appearing Login link on the gallery site. Why do I only see that link in Opera (sometimes)?

I'd suggest moving your <h3> tags to just outside your <a> tags.

Btw, putting this link: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=referer on your pages is a great way to easily check up on your work.

Took care of those errors. I can't figure out that last one though.

Leftover p tag? That means you either put it there by mistake or forgot to add a p tag before that one.

I wish I could take credit for writing the Gallery setup. It uses Coppermine. All I had to do was setup the database, upload the files and then run the install script, it's a piece of cake. As far as the coloring goes, I'm not 100% sold on my current colors either.

Looked over the whole document, they all had an opening and closing tag. So I just removed the paragraphing from that sentence altogether and it's happy now.

I can understand that. I had to use a CMS for some of my web sites too, because anything I made looked...bad. It took a while to find a good skin though. You have the right taste, you just have to unleash it on your main page. I like that elegant look...Right now it looks like an unskinned version, but I'm condifent you will be able to fix that. If possible, you should make your website consistent because the gallery doesn't look like it's part of the main site. Neither did Anandtech Forums (vs. Anandtech), until just a month or so ago. My God do I love the pics in your gallery though. ;)
