$69.99 - 20.00 = $49.99 for the 9100

$49.99 - 25.00 = $24.99 for the 7000

Rage 3D 32 MB SDR for $14.95 for that office system is also a fine price

The 7000 is a remarkable price for any low budget system.
Keep a copy of Richard's email to me when you order. This will insure that someone at TD will look into your rebate when it gets denied (very probable).

Yes, this is the infamous Tiger Direct, but check this out:

Thank you for your email.
We will issue you a $20.00 refund to your credit card.
We at TigerDirect.com appreciate your business. If you have further inquiries, please reply to this email, or call us at
1.800.800.8300. Make sure to include your entire email in any responses, so we can address your issues further.

I'm not getting the rebate I get cash back! This was for the 128 MB 9100. I sent an email yesterday and received a response the same day:

I'll check this out for you.
I'm not in the office right now to look at our ordering system so could you tell me your order number if you have it handy? Thanks.
I may not be able to do anything until Monday though but I will.

Does it have dual monitor support? I see both VGA and DVI, but can you hook up two monitors for more desktop space?

Heh..I've been agonizing since seeing this post...

I currently have a Matrox G400max...a terrific dualhead card..but it's just not keeping up with the current times (I want to play Homeworld 2 and NOFL 2 - neither of which support the Matrox card...)..so I think I'm going for this card!

How's tiger been with their rebates? If the rebate doesn't come through, this deal is lukewarm at best.

The point of the post is TD honoring a rebate that was denied. I received a response the same day I sent an email. I've ordered from TD in the past and stopped ordering after the negative news about them. When I saw the 128 MB 9100 deal I bought it from them because of the price not expecting the rebate, but hoping that it would come. When I was denied the rebate I thought typical TD ripoff. Boy, was I surprised at how quickly TD acted. I hope that this is not customer service month and the rest of the year is bad service. I ordered the 64 MB 9100 and the GF2 MX for a total of $40.00 A/R. Don't totally trust them, but let's see if this is a new policy. TD does have some great prices. If this is on the up and up I will start ordering on a regular basis.

Anybody know of any reviews on this card? How does is stack up against others in the market? Is this comparible to Geforce 4 MX series with DDR?

For 30 bones...for sure though this is a killer deal as it can handle the majority of the games out there.

1. the FW effect is far more troubling.
2. it was posted on 9/2 on FW.
3. the rebate is a manufacturer's rebate (VisionTek). Worries about TD "honoring" the rebate, if it isn't fulfilled by the manufacturer, is expecting a little much.

I would like to buy this card, but it being an OEM white box card, I cannot see how TCA will figure out how to process it. In every case before like it (DSD/Kbyte/others) I've submitted before, if the UPC code doesn't look like it was printed on the box they will reject it. Calling in and resubmitting won't solve it. Good luck if you get this and happen to receive a white box with a label printed UPC code. TCA will reject it because they're stupid.

Yes, you will receive a white box with a TD UPC.

After I recieved my TCA rejection email I immediately email TD and they made good on it. $60 is still a good price on a nice card like this.
The PNY Verto GeForce2 MX200 32MB SDR AGP Video Card $29.97 - 20.00 = $9.97 A/R.
The cards are worth the price even without the rebate.

Well, I went for it. Ordered both of the cards. The PNY is going on EBAY right away and the ATI may go in my third-string system to improve the video performance when I have LAN parties. I'll follow up and let you know how it turns out with the rebates.

On a side note, I used to do lots of business with Tiger Direct (Before I learned about Newegg). I have spent literally thousands of dollars with them and had one problem which they promtly took care of (sent me the wrong ink cartridge so they replaced it). I was frankly surprised to hear of all the problems people have had with them on this forum. They have never rejected a rebate for me. However, I have not ordered from them in quite a while because Newegg always seems to have a better price, so I have not had any recent experience with them, at least not for over 3 years.

What was the shipping for these?

Thanks.

Yes and the shipping is a killer! $12 to have it shipped to CA, no sales tax though so I guess it's a wash.

I don't think they "went under" but they stopped production for several months. When they started back up again, they began selling Ati based cards only. Before they stopped production, they only sold Nvidia. I used to have a Visiontek Xstasy Geforce2 GTS that served me well until I sold it.

VisionTek did go under. Then they got bought by some company that switched them to ATi. I don't even think its the same people as the old one (could be wrong tho', i seem to recall BFG bought some of the infrastructure of the old VT). anyway that said, i think they are still making good products

I decided to get in on it since most people believe that the 9100 is faster than a 5200 (non ultra).

I really hope I get the rebate though.
