Hey,
This is an update to the thread titled above.. I noticed that Luvly replied to my thread asking for an update (after giving some advice) and she and others asked for an update before it got locked.. Well, here we go....

Are you an arts major, a novel writer, or something? What's with the constant guilt trip you seem to have when it comes to your relationship with girls and women? You're never gutsy enough to be candid about your feelings to people whom it directly affects, are you? What happened to your gf's suggestion that you tackle problems, rather than brush them off, and you speak up your mind, instead of letting things build?

Yes, I enjoy writing and want to be a film maker.. Yes, I tend to bottle things up and, yes, I'm a bit of a coward......

I thought this thread would be something like, "I'm caught between my gf and a new girl." It seems your girl threads often boil down to the above. So, let me proceed to say, I think your question should be: Should I tell my gf that I'm in love with Sue! Hehehe!

OK, Here's the update you requested: I told "Sue" the truth and she said that she pretty much knew that I wasn't who I said that I was... She then said that she really enjoys talking to me and that she'd be willing to continue our relationship and that she was willing to forgive me... For "mary's" sake I just said goodbye to sue, deleted the AIM account and have not spoken to Sue ever since... I'm fine, I've moved on and I think it's a good thing that I had that closure and had a chance to apologize to "Sue" ... i'm glad that I didn't let this get out of hand though - I recently saw a picture of sue and... well.. I'm glad that i'm not being tempted 24/7 anymore ;)

Jeeeeeeeeeezus! You're one interesting guy, Freedomsbeat212! Thanks for the update! I appreciate it!

Wow! I would almost bet that you'll somehow, somewhere get in contact with Sue again. Good for you, if you suddenly cared about Mary's feelings . . . but that's very different from what you were saying earlier. Did you really call it off in the interest of Mary? Or did you really do it because of some guilt trip about spying on Sue?

Good luck to you, as far as your relationship with all. I, honestly, wouldn't care or have high regards for someone like Mary, who tries to tell me with whom I can associate.

Thanks, again, for the update. :D ;)

Hey.. I just weighed my options carefully.. I've known "mary" for years and I know her in the real world... I've had sake with her and went to see Henry V with her as well - in other words, my freindship with her was based in the real world.. While I haven't seen much of her since she started teaching, she's still a "real" friend (even though we've gotten a little distant lately).. "Sue," as great as she seemed online, was still an online friendship.. it wasn't worth it for me to sacrifice a real friendship for an abstract one.. The honest truth is that I had a few more conversations with "Sue" and "Mary" found out about these conversations (conversations taht I had after I told mary that I'm over and done with sue).. lots of words were exchanged and then I made a choice.. too dramatic to get into, but i noticed mary conciously trying to work on our friendship (even though she was furious with me).. we can continue this convo via PM if the mods get annoyed...

Haha! Walleye. . . . Hahahaha! :D

" take it to PM...you love birds with your petty problems make me sick."

Hahaha! Are you available, Freedomsbeat212? I would love to have you, for you're my ideal man. I just didn't realise we were love birds. . . . :Q :p

"'Sue,' as great as she seemed online, was still an online friendship.. it wasn't worth it for me to sacrifice a real friendship for an abstract one.."

Freedomsbeat212, I agree with you. However, let's be real here: Do you honestly not think you could have turned Sue from an abstract friend into a real friend if you really wanted to? From your past posts, it appears you aren't someone that dismisses internet friendships as authentic. It just seems to me you are finding excuses to push aside Sue due to guilt trip, or something else. You are right that you are more familiar with Mary. However, if you were growing apart, what's the point? Sometimes it makes sense to let go of the past to make room for someone or something new, better, healthier and different. Whatever works for you really! You made your decision, so it stands! It's better than being indecisive! ;)

One more question . . . did Mary give you this spying assignment with intent to reward you for it? I mean, it's hard for me to see how you owe her if she didn't give it as a deal. On the other hand, if she did, then you're definitely a terrible spy for falling for Sue (as a friend), and you would owe allegiance to Mary. Remind me never to hire you for that purpose. :Q Haha! Too funny. ;)

All right . . . your description there is extremely tempting. I want to know more, so I'll take it over. . . . ;)
