Was there any details about the incident available? Was it a robbery? Have they caught the shooter?

Sorry in advance if its too hard talk about. Its tough to lose a good friend no matter what the cause.

Today's my birthday :beer: Happy Birthday to me...the funeral's been set for Wednesday. I haven't recieved anymore details pertaining to what caused the shooting, and, truthfully, I don't really want them.

makes me feel so bad about all the stupid arguments and fights I get into with people who might actually matter in the long run.

I can't believe i was even annoyed that no one thanked me for baking them their birthday cake...or inviting me out to dinner....

wow...i gotta get back after class today and just say a quick "thank you" to all my friends.
 
Wow I can't believe this thread has been here since the 10th and I didn't see it till now. Though I have only been on sparingly at times.

Dr. Noobie, very sorry for your loss, my condolences to you, his family and all of your mutual friends there for not only losing a friend but seeing him like that. I can't imagine how difficult that must be. I've never seen any graphic incidents like that before.

I've had the pleasure of having some of my questions answered by you in some threads on here and I appreciated very much you taking the time out to answer them. Please hang in there and know that you are a valuable member of this community and if you ever need to talk to get things off your chest feel free to post or PM me.

Well, even though you might not want to hear about the cause, something needs to be done. The shooter needs to be found and held accountable.

That's completely true, and I want them to find the killer so I can cut of his limbs, then suture his arms where his legs should be and vice-versa. I'd rather not here about the process in the mean time, however. Though, inevitably, I know I will.
 
Somehow towards the end I knew it was going to end up being one of th epoepl you were out with (otherwise you'd probably not be posting).

Really sorry to hear that. Is there any info about why this happened in the first place?

OMG. That is the most horrific thing I can think of happening in a hospital environment. Having to work on a friend.
May he rest in peace and I hope you can find the strength to continue .
My deepest condolences.
