I was thinking about this the other night while looking at cases my wife wants to put her upcoming rig into, and I think if we all get together with these paperweights, we can somehow put them to use (perhaps the Latvian military has an extra purchase order they're itching to justify, or the 'cause' of experimental art could be furthered by the innards, or «AS&S» would buy a lot wholesale to sell), or possibly turn a profit...

I can almost bet you that if you claim to, and/or mod them in any way (a single LED and some cool stickers would have some reaching for their wallets), you could turn a decent profit on Ebay. Where else can you still do business charging 500% shipping and unequivocally imposing handling and insurance fees?
