This has been possible for awhile. I remember loy showed me his ps2 with the hard drive hooked up with the network adapter.

He only had the genesis emulator loaded up at the time on the hdd.

I doubt they like people like me either. I've only bought 2 games for my PS2 in the 1.5 years I've owned it.
