oh my fvcking god it's an other optimus post. use the fvckin search tool. better yet, next time you find something cool and you want to post it on ATOT, don't.
 
it looks cool at first, but it would cost way too much which would outweigh it's practicality.

if you read the other thread about this thing you woudl see that they interviewed the people behind it and they said .....


PT: Any approximations on cost yet?

AL: I can hardly imagine it to be less than $200 to $300 (USD). Sounds like a lot for a keyboard, but most modern mobile phones cost about that.

I never realized how valuabe the ATOT real estate was for people to be having a coniption fit over a damn repost. Go get some air.

It's hella cool. If this Repost is such a sin why don't the mods make this a sticky? Not everyone lives here 24/7. I for one would have never read about this concept if it was buried in the ATOT archives.

 
Also glad it was reposted...looks really cool. But I'd rather have a low-power e-paper keyboard...who cares if its 'slow'...I don't need animations on my keyboard, just changeable keys.

Anyone here remember the plastic keyboard masks that were used for UNIX business machines?
 
I bet Apple will be very willing to bundle these with there computers, maybe not the keyboard itself but they might pay for a license to :thumbsup:use that technology in their own keyboards I bet. I am assuming that because this keyboard looks very fancy and more apple like but it's still awesome.
