I'm intrigued by the new roomba that empties itself. Kind of expensive but might be perfect for my basement. I've got an 880 down there and it gets filled so fast with cat hair.

Speaking of robots - I've still got a robotic mower on my mind as well. Not for the whole yard, just for the back.

And while we're on robots........ naw, that's too creepy for me.

2019 Rav4 looks great. If it wasn't for Toyota's odd refusal to support android auto, that would have been my next car. As it sits now, I'm patiently waiting for my blue 2019 Santa Fe to get delivered.

Not that excited about much else on the horizon, except maybe the new Mario Party.

Yep - we're hoping to do Macchu Pichu and the Galapagos in that trip. And two weeks before that we're thinking about a week in Banff but the tickets haven't been booked yet.

Later this year we're doing DTW-FRA-ADD-SEZ-ADD-NBO-ZRH-YYZ-DTW all in business class. I used United routing rules and the Excursionist Perk so we should get slightly less than a week each in Nairobi and the Seychelles along with stop overs in Frankfurt, Addis Ababa and Zurich that should be long enough (7-14 hours) to shower and see some of the city and break up the long flights - assuming the weather plays nice.

We're staying at these two places in the Seychelles and have a safari booked for Kenya.

Where in Asia are you sending them off too and where are you thinking of going?
Sounds awesome! Those are all exotic and once in lifetime trips! I'm jealous.

My wife and daughter will visit Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, and Japan. I was trying to put together this trip for the winter break so I could join them but I think summer time will be better. They can travel at leisure and not rush. I haven't decided where I will go. Summer is my busy time at work so I'll probably stick with somewhere close and stay within North America.

Yay, another overpriced and overpowered hypercar that I’ll never be able to afford!

The only way I’ll get excited about that car is if The Grand Tour guys review it and find a fun way to crash it :)
The Roadster will be the complete opposite of overpriced hypercar and electric car. Right now, electric cars are more expensive than comparable ICE car. But Roadster will be cheaper than any comparable ICE car and will greatly outperform it. And who knows about your financial future. You could win the lottery tomorrow or Coolcoin could take off.

announced only, not pie-in-the-sky, not-going-to-happen items
Wait, what if it's both? Amazon says they're working on a Ringworld series. I'm both excited and suspicious that it won't happen.

Lol, roadster base model is projected for 200,000.

It will be fast as hell in a straight line, but it’s not going to out track a 200k supercar.

Besides, this is Tesla we're talking about. The "$200,000" base model is basically a mirage, much like the mythical $35,000 Tesla Model 3.

The actual cars will probably cost closer to $300,000 once the car is optioned out. Sure, that's normal in the car business, but it's still annoying.

My snus order is supposed to be delivered today at my mother's, and I'll get it tomorrow. It's Mörkbrunt. A historic brand that was delisted in 98. Swedish Match is bringing it back for a test run. In the spring, they're bringing back Rallarsnus. Can't wait :^)

Hybrid Mustang as long as Ford stays true to their claim that it will deliver power comparable to the GT with the V8.
