I know this is the console forum but I decided to include PC games so owners of all 3 platforms can decide which version of the game to get.

Maybe I'll include DS/PSP in a future update, this is really just to remind everyone of the great releases coming out this year, feel free to suggest any other hot game for 2008 I might have missed.

This is divided in sections, first all the 360-exclusives (as in completely exclusive), then the PS3 exclusives, then PC exclusives, then Wii exclusives, then 360-PS3-Wii, 360-PS3, PC-360 and finally games available on the 360-PS3-PC. (There are no games available only for PC and PS3 and only two games available for ALL platforms so I just made a clarification in the 360-PS3-Wii in bold). The format is [name of the game] - [developer (not publisher)] - [genre] - [release date] and are organized by their release date. Additionally, the name of games will be bolded as they are release and their metacritic score will be put in parenthesis next to the release date (in bold also).

Here's some other stuff you didn't have listed I'm looking forward too this year. Rock Band 2 is probably the game I'm most looking forward too. I'm really interested in checking out Left 4 Dead too but I know my PC won't run it well and I'm reluctant to buy any Valve games for my 360 with all the TF2 pay for DLC stuff.

All:
Ghostbusters: The Video Game - 10/21
Megaman 9 - 9/??

Wii
Sam & Max Season One 8/29
Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop - 12/12
Wario Land: Shake It! - 9/22

DS:
Chrono Trigger DS
Kirby Super Star Ultra

Wii
Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop - 12/12

"Groovy."

Too bad it's inspired by Romero rather than Raimi. Fighting Deadites as Ash with a waggle-fun chainsaw & shotgun could get me to buy a wii :D

October is going to be an expensive month.

Honestly, it seems like a step back in terms of pretty much everything, except maybe the lack of time limits on the missions. I loved DR on my 360, but I don't think I'm going to rebuying it for the Wii.

I am _completely_ excited about the number of RPGs coming out this fall, and I am thus sad that the OP left out:

PS2:
Persona 4
Ar Tonelico 2

Thought this one was canceled?

It hasn't been canceled but it looks like it may not be coming out this year. When Activision and Blizzard merged, they dropped this game. The Ghostbusters devs are looking for a new publisher but the game is still on.

As long as the Megaman game has the screen where it shows the boss with the "music" after you select its stage... I'm game, but I hope it isn't horribly retro-ish. I mean, I liked how Megaman X looked.

I may pick up the square RPGs... not entirely sure on that and possibly Disgaea 3 as I have Disgaea 2.

The only definite on the list is Wrath of the Lich King :p.

We;ll see how it turns out. I've heard a lot of good things about the 360 version but I tend to use my Wii more often since it travels better. Hopefully it's not scaled back to much for the Wii.

Why isn't 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand listed? Are you working for the promoter who promised to pay 50 mad money, but instead gives him a diamond encrusted skull?!?! Do you know how damn hard diamond encrusted skulls are to get through customs?!!?!

For me, i can't wait for all of them. All that smexy-ness.

Yeah, seems like the 360 has become the new PS2! When the new Jasper systems are out with price drops, I might even add a 360 to my TV stand.

While, it's coming to the Wii, I haven't seen anything about it outside of an announcement. It may be coming but not this year I think.

Any word on how good Infinite Undiscovery is? Had no idea this was coming. Tales of Vesperia and Disgaea 3 are already gonna take a bunch of my time.

I don't know. I've used up an infinite amount of time and haven't discovered a thing about the game.

Added Wii games and a few other titles and added metacritic score for Tales of Vesperia (will be doing so for every game).
