Upcoming hockey season predictions

Since the Avs and Stars are going to play tonight I thought we should all predict who will win the Cup this year. My choice is the Avs although they have not signed Chris Drury yet.

Imagine, if you will, that the Panthers grab Yashin, that'd make them serious contenders. Seriously though, as it stands I'm kinda clueless, but I don't think the Avs or Stars will do it this year.

But seriously though, what happened to my leafs last year?

The whole season they were either 1st or 2nd in the who league and then playoffs hit and they go down hill.

They better do better this year or Iam going to kick their...

Ask me a month from now, currently it's tough to tell who's playing
where with all the lineup changes that have taken place.

I'm hoping the Senators can put things together this year
despite giving up Ron Tugnutt and Janne Laukkanen for nothing. :|

I'm waiting for Portland to get an NHL team. For now, I like the Blackhawks because they are the parent club of our junior team, the Winterhawks, although I don't exactly think they'll take the Cup.

Soulflare, I'm wondering how Yashin will play this year...

Hopefully I will be attending Vancouver's home opener against Colorado. Bigsmooth, not having an NHL team here gives one a good excuse to go to Vancouver.
