Upcoming HL2 tech demo question

Is the demo that is supposed to come out today supposed to be playable or just another bink?

Tech demos are normally used to test hardware ala 3D Mark, so it's probably a non-interactive, real-time demo.

Mid-November? Gamestop told me it wouldn't be out till February 2004.

I think at this point it is anyones guess. I am willing to bet, however, the gamestop is off. All accounts I have heard indicate that they are shooting for the holidays. So I would say that mid novermber to early december is a resonable assumption.
