Rebuilt my system with this chip / Abit NF7-S mobo & ( 2 ) Maxtor 80GB SATA 7200 drives @ Raid 0.

Awsome ! :beer:

Running right now at 11.5 x 200 for a 2300GHz w/ 1.6 vcore and a cool 36 cel max load. Very nice chip and has loads of potential

Gonna play today and see where she ends up. 😀

what type of heatsink/fan combo you using.

am running the same cpu at 2.4 gig with 37 degree temp.

i can lower the temp if i kick up the rpm on my fan.

lmk.

Thermalright ALX-800 with a DELTA 80X35 FFBEHE FAN < ---- loud but don't care 😉

at 37 cel here to at load.

Not only does your heatsink and fan make a difference, the motherboard makes quite a difference as to what temperatures are reported. My max temp (and idle temp, and every other temp) went up by 3C, after changing from an Epox 8RDA3+ to a DFI Ultra Infinity, with the same heatsink, same fan, same case, etc.

Update:

Running 11.5 x 210 FSB @ 2.4GHz / 1.65 vcore ..... 42cel @ load.

Overclocked my Sapphire 9800 Pro to 427/746 ran 3DMark2001se for a 19000+ score 🙂
3DMark03 = 6390

Windows 2000 Pro w/servicepacks.

He's using a Delta. Low temps are offset by bleeding ears.
