There were tons of them in different sizes (3-4 shirt styles) at the Lake Worth store in S.FL. I'd imagine they are on clearance elsewhere as well. There was a Dolphins T for $2.44 and some other shirts I wasn't fond of. Regular price appears to be $9.99+.

(no thread crapping intended here, just telling the facts)

Know why they're on clearance? Because theres only like 5,000 U of M fans. Seriously, ever watch them on TV when they play at home?
They can be ranked #1 and the stadium is a quarter full, what a joke.

The only time they get a full house is when FLA St. comes to town, and thats because FSU brings 30,000 fans.

So, they are on clearance because all UM fans already bought 2 of these and they dont need anymore, which equates to alot left over.

Consider it an opportunity for the UM Haters as well. They can spend <$3 and do evil things to the t-shirts in public displays of rivalry. 😉

I have actually been to several home hurricane games and can tell you that the Orange Bowl is not empty at all. In fact I believe it has been over 10 years since the 'canes have not had a sellout crowd regardless of who they are playing, so to say that they never have a full stadium is out of place and totally wrong. The Orange Bowl holds more fans then the majority of College stadiums so even if it is not full to capacity, it still is full of fans (Alot more then 5k)

BTW wasn't FSU a girls only school at one time? Oh ya it still is 😉

Go 'Canes!!!

'Canes #1 !!!!!!!!

Get the facts from someone who is close geographically instead of watching what the tv shows you 😉

Ok , heres some facts straight from UofMs "offical" website ( and they arent pretty)

39,000 fans , game 2 of last year

36,000 fans , game 4 of last year

83,000 fans , FSU game(at FSU though)

31,000 fans! good gawd its getting ugly in here........

Keep in mind, this is tickets sold which means take another 10-20% off attendance. So , for link 4 we have about 25,000 ppl in the stadium out of a possible 75,000?

Looks like if you went to the games and have been seeing sold out stadiums for the last 10 years I think you must have drank a bit to much and were seeing double ( or triple, or quadruple, hehe)

Anyway, all in good fun

Later

And wasn't they under NCAA sanctions about five years ago for a few years, so I bet the attendance was closer to that 5000 figure then.

But I sure was happy to see them kick Nebraska A$$ !!! 😀

How was that possibly "not thread crapping"? WTF did that have to do with this hot deal? The reason they're on sale is because football season is over, ALL the teams I saw at my local Target were on sale. Please try to post something useful or just STFU. Actually please don't reply and make it any worse than it already is. Forget I said anything, you're right, they suck, blah blah. You're cool too!

I didn't have any of the Cane's T's in Minneapolis here, it appears the stock is sort of a local thing depending on what states you live by. And I *think* each Target can choose it's own stock to some extent. Anyhow, I didn't see it on the Target website. If any one else does, please let me know, I'd like to pick up one or two.

Thanks for the info though!

It's not thread crapping, it is called support for your favorite college team and I am sorry if I made you feel like I was attacking you as that was not my intention at all.

And we all know that the paying customers are only 1/2 of any audience when you add in the bands for both schools, outside organizations like high school bands etc..... Those stats are probably correct if they are only counting tickets sold at the gates ;-)

All I know is whenever I have gone to the games there over the last 10 years both decks have been full for the most part, but mind you I wouldn't goto every single game, not even close.

Go 'Canes!!

just another fellow (local) fan of UM backing up snooker...

GO CANES!!!

i agree that most games that i have been to in the last 3 years have been pretty full... though i sit in the students section mostly (gf is in u of m med school w00t) it seems rather full to me... coming from Vanderbilt its nice to root for a football team that actually WINS occassionally!!!

Some of you guys are just angry b/c we are much better than any team. We showed that well. Our defense does not just tackle, we knock people out which many teams just dream about. If you hate the Canes then you guys don't know what real power of college football is. Come on, we dominated this year and could be next year too. 😀

The Canes did dominate this year, but they probably should've lost to BC...I know shoulda woulda coulda. Anyhow, the Canes are stacked for the next couple of years but the man behind it all has gone to Cleveland. Can Coker fill Butch Davis' very large shoes???

Arguing about college football is tiresome to me because in the back of my mind I know that there's corrupt activity going on at every school and all it means to win a championship is that your school managed to cheat the NCAA system moreso than any other team.

Then, you have my dad's team which cheats constantly and not only do they get caught but they weren't much of a force while cheating, other than 1 or 2 years.

ROLL TIDE!!! 😛 Yea, right...
