Unwanted XP setup on OS selection

ok this maybe a noob question but i really don't know how to remove this XP setup i ran but realized i didn't need it . It appears on the OS selection screen and has 5 seconds timer so whenever i'm away and computers restarts it ends up running the XP setup! please help

Go to the System Properties control panel and look hard and you'll find a panel that allows you to edit the startup. I don't have an XP box running right now, so I don't recall the exact menus.
