unwanted program on computer after surfin the net

I have a program called mp3search on my computer it inhabited my IE and mounted a bar with links on it, changed my home page, and set itself in my startup! No uninstall for it, how do i get rid of it?

Remove your hard drive, open it up, and soak it in a bathtub. :Q😕

Try going into msconfig and unchecking it from startup.
You've gone into add/remove programs and looked in there I assume?

Those things are getting out of hand. One day i was just browsing, and the Comet Cursor thing just started to download itself!! Mind you, i have all active X controls either turned to off, or prompt. Unless it got itself to install through Java without permission :|

yeah, comet cursor is evil, my dad downloaded it on his computer, won't admit it's a mistake and now wont' delete it, i find it hilarious, but absolutely hate the damn thing

its not in add/remove programs. ever since this happened (yesturday), I took off the automatic homepage lop.com, my my internet cant find a webpage it redirects it to lop.com ARG. also I still have that stupid taskbar on my ie which has icons "news, mp3music, gaming, blah blah" PAIN IN THE ASS
