Unusual user account

I found this user account on my comp which i never put there. It isnt mine and it isnt guest or anything it was called NET.com or somthing similar... it had .com at the end of it. Where did it come from??

Noone couldnt put it there as everyone else in this house still struggles to remember where to type in web addresses etc, nevermind add a user account.
 
Was it ASPNET? That comes from when you install the .NET Framework. If you go to Microsoft Update, you should see a SP1 for the .NET Framework 1.1. This service pack will remove the new account from the XP Welcome screen.
 
Yea thatll be it, cuz i had to install .net. I deleted the user account when i found it, jus wondered where it came from. Thanks.
