I recently got a new computer (see information below). Computer will run fine and stable for a while. It is able to run SysMark2001 and Sandra benchmarks fine and gets good benchmarks. However, after a few days I will get a blue screen fatal error. When I reboot I get an invalid system disk error (no disk in drive). I won't boot in safe mode either. When I run a diskscan it says that there are errors on drive my FAT allocation tables don't match and I end up reformatting the hard drive and reinstalling windows. In the last two weeks I've had to do a reformat and full reinstall 5 times. This doesn't happen with the same program -- here are some of the things I have been doing when this happened: 1) running a virus scan with Norton 2001 2) running a virus scan with PC-cillan (I didn't have both Norton and PC-cillan installed at the same time) 3) copying mp3 files from a CD-ROM to my hard drive. I've done a full scan disk but it came up with no problems. I've also run memtest for about 2 hours with no errors. I've stopped running any anti-virus program but I am still getting errors. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be wrong here.
