Unusual Power Supply

I'm looking for info on an obsolete power supply. My friends computer's power supply crapped out and i'm having trouble idenifying what type it is. Ther motherboard connecters are three small connectors marked P1, P2, and P3 and our connected in a row. I thought it was an AT power supply but when I checked they only had two connectors. BTW, it's an older model Compact Persario.

I'm afraid you're out of luck. Compaq power supplys were (and may still be) proprietary. You have two solutions: order an expensive, overpriced, expensive, and overpriced powersupply from Compaq, or buy a whole new computer for the same amount of $$$ (or ???).

Old Compaqs were HORRIBLE (not sure if new ones are!)....I worked on one once and when I upgraded the hard drive it did not work.....because compaq had been so wise as to build the bios into the hard drive and not as a chip on the board....they suck suck suck.....I think jliechty's suggestion is good.
