Give a race car builder an idea for a street car and what do you end up with? A 502 big block in a 2600lb car that is made to take corners. Man that car has to be one hell of a ride.

The McLaren is pretty sweet with the driver sitting in the middle, thats got to be pretty unique. Also having over 600 HP at your disposal is no mean feat either.

When I was restoring the car, and redoing the seats, I found some white powder in the seats. I vacuumed it up with the other trash too fast before I could (taste) check it. Even since then I always check every nook and cranny in this car. Perhaps this was John DeLoreans way of thanking his customers?!

Bah, Delorean was set up big time. He was a struggling business man in desperate need of cash. The govt saw him struggling and put the idea of drug distribution into his head.

Here is a nice picture of one.

They make them with 502 Chevy big blocks now as well as the 350 small block. I can't even imagine how fast they can accelerate or what the top speed would be.

I think that's my own car GAZ 69 from year '58, just finishing rebuilding. Engine 2.4L form GAZ 24 (93Hp), bright yellow colour, 4x4 with 3-speed (x2) gearbox, differencial locks, Recaro sport seats etc. Real fun-car. Soon putting up some pictures of it...
