I'm getting an oddball "beep" that I have NEVER heard before on this AN7. It's NOT the typical one beep "OK" for Award BIOS, this sounds like the old video game "Pong"!!! It's a combo of a lower tone beep with a higher tone beep (making one beep), followed by a higher tone beep alone, then finally there's the typical one Award beep! The only way I can describe is a lower "bloooop" (which sounds like the Pong game) and higher "beeep" at the same time, then it sounds like the lower pitched "blooop" stops and the higher pitched "beeep" continues for maybe two tenths of a second, then the normal Award beep is heard. Sometimes when this happens the POST screen says the BIOS is messed up, I can't recall the exact phrase now, but it stops and says I have to enter the BIOS setup. I think it said "fail safe BIOS settings have been entered". Yesterday when this happened the only things I saw changed in the BIOS was the CPU fan warnings. Both the "CPU fan fail shutdown" and "CPU fan fail warning" were changed to "Disabled" from what I had set them to which was "Enabled". Also, incredible as it sounds, the CPU temp warning area CHANGED! I mean, the entries were DIFFERENT!! Previously the temp WARNING options were only a few FROM A LIST OF AVAILABLE options, and you had to select from that list of available options. Those options were GONE and replaced with an area to type in your own value in °C!!!!!!

Today when this happened again, NOTHING was changed in the BIOS! It was as it was yesterday.
Sometimes after these odd beeps, when it may boot up as usual without a POST warning, I see that red display you see when the power connector on a hi-end video card is not connected (AIW 9800pro). However, I can't read it, it flashed to quickly, and it may be the video card pwr warning, but I THINK it says the bit about not to "power down the system while BIOS is being saved". That's not verbatim, but close to it.
BIOS was flashed to the latest version 15, and still shows v15 @POST.
There have also been (no surprise) alpha numerical codes on that two digit LED display on the mobo that are not in the manual! That comes as no surprise since these ridiculous things REGARDLESS of mobo are always showing unlisted codes! Right after these odd beeps, I see "I.A." or "1.A." can't tell if it's a "1" or "I". I've also seen 86, 79, 36, and 0.4 or .4 of which are not listed! When I shut the mobo down, "9.9." is shown on the LED display, but when I unplug it, and then power it back on, it shows "0.0."!!!! What's going on??

The mobo is brand new, retail and PS is Antec True430, also new retail. Memory is TWINX512-3200LL and set to SPD which is the correct settings of 2-3-2-6. Voltages are all default as is clock speeds, except vdimm is set to 2.8, it was set to 2.9v but I backed it down but that didn't make any difference.
