kind of like the Solling Pedersen, the one that has the seat suspended on a cord.

Ahhh.....the venerable Trek Y-bike, one of Trek's earlier forays into carbon framed bikes. At the same time, Trek released the Y-foil, a very similar frame in a road bike geometry....actually was sold as a time trial bike.

At least Trek had solved most of the problems with carbon by the time they released that frame.....their first gen. carbon frames, straight "gauge" carbon tubes lugged with aluminum lugs which corroded at the lugs and bottom bracket, and the carbon tubes tended to delaminate quite a bit, were not so good.
