unusal error on LCM-17w7

ok So I just got a LCM-17w7(westinghouse Digital lcd) and I install the monitor to my computer and everything starts out ok goes through the bios start up and enters the windows start up, after the "blue bar" gets done and windows would start I get and "out of Range" msg on the screen and nothing else.

I am using an GeForce Fx 5600 256mb vid card and win xp on an athalon 64 3500+

Which connector are you using (DVI or VGA)?

If VGA, do you have it set to ANALOG in the OSD (On-Screen-Display) menu?
If DVI, do you have it set to DIGITAL in the OSD menu?

Ok so I found the answer, The monitor can only operate at 60mhz refresh rate and my vid card was set to 85. but thatnks for the help anyhow.
