unsuffcient space

I got a friends hard disk here (NTFS)
this drive seems to be "full"
when I try to access it from explorer or whatever I get this error:

E:\ is not accessible

Unsufficent drivespace available

so I cannot even list the contents on this drive

I tried a chkdsk on it, not much of a result
I got pretty far on making a drive image, until it gave an error, so maybe a tool that accesses the drive in a similar way as these image tools do might do the trick

anyone has a clue on how to remove some stuff or recover data from this disk?

(I think this is the right forum for this question ?)

go to admin tools

computer management,
disk management

and see what it is, maybe the ntfs is corrupted.
not sure if u can still fix it, and if you dont have anything in there, reformat as ntfs again

good luck
