How can i induce a crash/freeze for example if the PSU is making my rig unstable?

I think my CPU max clock is before my PSU cant supply the juice.. or at least i cant be sure which it is. Besides, i hit 62C @2500Mhz. 2,2GHz stock. 2600Mhz fails SuperPI 1M.

Your PSU should be able to run your system. What kind of troubles are you seeing that makes you think your PSU is bad?

If i plug in 4 HDDs i get random BSODs all the time. vCore is fluctuating +/- .050V. I can (sometimes) run with 4 HDDs CPU @1600Mhz, but with 1 HDD no problems @ 2400Mhz.

EDIT: vCore flutuation is decreased with only 1HD:
vCore set: 1.450V
REAL vCore: 1.38V-1.42V

All HDDs plus optical plugged in:
vCore set: 1.450V
REAL vCore: 1.37V-1.44V

Correct word is 'Instability'.

Sounds like your PSU is limiting you. Back when I built my rig, I bought some cheapo 350watt power supply and was only able to overclock to 3.2 and that was just posting. I got a new powersupply and 'lo and behold I got all the way to 3.6GHZ, stable. What model PSU do you have?
