Unresolved error message in NAV 2002 installation into WIn 2K

When trying to install Norton AV 2002 on a Win 2K machine, which had (and now removed) AVG anti virus working perfectly, I get this script error message and the installation cannot complete. I have tried numbers of times. The same NAV 2002 CD installs perfectly into XP Pro, which is on the same box in a dual boot.

Anyone know a way to work around or through this, and get the installation to complete ?
