They learned their lessons from the failure of UT2k3. They got the field of view perspective right this time and the game is as addictive as the original UT, IMHO. I think they are both great but I can see why someone would like UT but hate UT2k3 as the pace of the game is so frenetic now. As a certain Red Wings announcer might say, UT2k3 is no place for a nervous person. LOL.

I really love this game so far, but I am really biased. I have been an Unreal fanboy since Unreal came out.

I've pre-purchased my DVD set already, I can't wait for March 17th now.

Did the original have vehicles? Vehicles make this game better than the original. It's all still repetative gameplay. More First Person Shooters need XP Points and rewards like Wolf ET. More depth and a good reason to keep playing give longevity on my harddrive.

I like CTF and Assault but I don't like the Carmageddon aspect of Onslaught, I am sick of being constantly run over vehicles. I mean where is the skill in circle strafing in a vehicle at a spawn point mowing everyone down?
