Unreal Tournament 2004 - Fresh Install won't connect to master server!

Title says it. I've closed my firewall and disabled windows firewall, still nothing. What ports does it use? Maybe my router is blocking it? My version is 3355 I believe.

Easy way to tell, DMZ yourself on router temporarily (put software firewall back up first). Or plug directly to the modem and try.

My stupid game won't ping the server list right anymore.

EDIT: Actually, I can't query the master server now either.

you don't have peerguardian or any ip blocking software do you? Same thing happend to me a while back and it ended up being peerguardian.

same thing happening with me...if you figure it out let me know but I am running the latest patch and just cannot connect for the life of me.

well that was useless...opened the ports, put my PC in the DMZ...still no go, cannot connect to master server nor anything else...yet every other game is fine...go figure.

I'm having the same problem. It installled it at another location and it worked fine. I did the port fowarding thing too btw.

tried the UT forums but no luck there...doesn't seem to make much sense if you can install it at another location and it works?...

well I played it at the other location 2 days ago, so I don't know if it is still working.

master server could not be reached

The Master Server is currently down, so it isn't your pc's fault.

maybe the server is just down??

The UT master server was down yesterday. Ran into the same problem.

I read this and quickly opend up UT2004 in hopes of it being fixed...still no go
