Unreal pack on Steam now $44.99 (previously $59.99)

I just saw that the Unreal pack (which contains Unreal 1, 2, and Unreal Tournament '99, 2004, and 3) on Steam now costs $44.99, $15 less than the previous price $59.99. I believe the prices of some of the components of the pack, or at least Unreal Tournament 3, fell as well, though I'm not sure on that.

Anyway, thought I'd pass this along, given how much I've gotten out of this site. Here's a link - link

Unreal Anthology: $9.99 on Amazon
Unreal Tournament 3: $29.99 on Amazon

$39.98 - cheaper and you have the physical discs.

That's funny, I actually prefer to use steam than to have physical disks. Steam is a lot nicer now than when it came out. And with steam, you don't ever have to pop a CD in to play --- nor do you have to worry about losing your CDs.

Don't know if this is true with UT3 as I've never tried it, but with all older UT games the CD check was always removed in either the 2nd or 3rd patch for the game. Epic was always real good to gamers in that respect at least.

$9.99 + $4 shipping for a used game? No thanks.

Yea, I have always liked Epic and id Software in that regard. Both companies tend to remove the CD check within a few months of the initial release of the software.
