Unreal - Crackle with Audigy

I have two computers with SB Live and two with Audigy. KS75A for the Audigy's. Voice crackles with Audigy but did not with Live! Anyone know why?

It's possible that the Audigy is not compatible with Unreal. Make sure to disable EAX and 3D sound in Unreal's Advanced Settings.

It's possible that the Audigy is not compatible with Unreal.

Highly unlikely - just update your sound card dirvers, chipset drivers and BIOS and the problem should go away. Also make sure your video card and sound card aren't using the same IRQs.

You can also try a different PCI slot,sound cards do sometimes work better in certain PCI slots.

I remember having that problem with my other rig, I had to edit my UnrealTournament.ini to turn off Direct Sound.
