Unquestionably the dumbest thing witnessed by anyone, ever.

I meant to post this Friday but completely forgot: I was walking home from work and I saw a woman having her tire changed by some guy. He was putting the donut on, but the car was parked right next to a Firestone auto repair center!! The car was literally 5 feet from a service station, and they are putting on the spare instead. All this in the biggest traffic jam I have seen in Philadelphia in years. I hope to god, for the sake of humanity, that there was a good reason for that.

That's not bad, but I have witnessed something dumber. When I was in high school, I was walking behind these two stoner kids, when all of a sudden, without saying a word, one of them whips out a lighter and burns one of his eyebrows off. Afterward he just started to laugh, and then the other stoner kid started to laugh at him. That's the dumbest thing ever witnessed by anyone.

Ever stop and think that maybe that guy worked from at firestone? Or maybe they want to save some dough and do it themselves when they get home?

tirestation=money out of pocket.

unless they were causing the traffic jam... i think reasonable to say she didn't want to spend the money to get it fixed at the station.

then why would the be putting the spare on?

well some people like me and Spoooon won't give firestone one red cent. Plus she might not have had money for a new tire, or wanted to wait the 2 hrs that some of those places make you weight.

people are cheap... that is why. After all, they were using a donut... only crappy cars don't come with a fullsize spare.

Maybe they have a road hazard warranty from the Goodyear place and they would rather have the tire fixed for free.

Porsches don't come with a full-size spare. Care to re-phrase?

I was outside at my in-laws, who live on a busy streetcorner. Some young kids pulled up to turn left across traffic, pulling their buddy's dead car with a 40 foot rope. a small gap appeared, and the driver apparently forgot he was driving something 60 feet long.
he punches it, and pulls his unwilling buddy right into a head-on!!! Luckily, no one was injured, but, wow, what a cranial gaseous anomoly.
His friend could not see around him to slam on the brakes in time, and the oncoming traffic did not see the small rope. All they saw was this idiot pulling directly in front of them.😕

No... but I'll reiterate it... "...only crappy cars don't come with a fullsize spare."

Smart woman. Discount tire 0wns Firestone. Even Firestone/Bridgestone tires are cheaper at Discount tire.

My girlfriends sister went out for maxi pads and came home with a big bag of depends instead. She's freshy imported from Iran, however, so I gave her slack. (She's really cute too, sooo...)

I once saw two kids throwing a football at a summer camp job I had, I guess they were practicing accuracy because they were tossing the ball at a trash can for the most part. One kid told the other to try and hit a tree not to far away from them so he gave it a shot, but threw the football way to hard. The ball came right back at him nailing his nose in the process, blood was all over this kids face and he just had his mouth wide open crying his brains out. Not something you want to happen while working at a summer camp, but it was to funny for words.
