Unplugging all my case fans.

I have a Tsunami Dream case and it's pretty loud. I already unplugged my side and front intake fan.

I only have my exhaust fan running. I was thinking about unplugging that also. It's just too loud for me. Sounds like a blow dryer most of the time. =

I was wondering if my PC gets to hot, would it turn off automatically?

instead of unplugging all your case fans, i'd advise you to replace them with some queiter fans eg. nexus, panaflo, etc. if you aren't overclocking, one 120mm or 80mm exhaust fan should be enough. when your cpu gets too hot, it will automatically shutdown.

Replace them with quieter fans or get a fan controller. I'm going to replace mine since I have to same problem as you.

Yups, im not an over clocker.
The only fan i have running on my case is the exhaust fan right now. Stock thermaltake. I hope the nexus fan helps.

Okay, this is what i did.

I flipped my 9cm side fan and i unplugged my exhaust fan. I figure, since the side fan is located directly above the CPU, then it shouldn't be such a bad idea. Gosh it's so much more quiet now. =D

Though it could still be toned down a little.

Just too keep you guys updated. My PC has been on for about 5 mins now.

According to CoreCenter i average around 42C.
I'm not sure how accurate CoreCenter is but i think my pc will live.

I'm surprised. I just bought the Tsunami case for a PC I'm building this weekend, and I noticed the case fans are rated at 21dB. I don't have a side fan like yours, but are they really that loud? I figured the noise would be dwarfed by the PSU and CPU cooler.
