Hi,

DOes it happening to you...

when you unplug your network cable(RJ45) from your router, the computer will turn off in instant just like unplugging the power cable...

Is it happening to you? it is happening to me!
I can't solve this problem..
When i download (BT) at night, i need to use my wired router(adsl) at least 600kb/s and during days i connect it to my wireless router for data transfer to my notebook.

when i unplug it, it turns off itself, i have to wait at least 30 minutes for it to "cool down" otherwise, it will pop turn off it self after 3 to 5 seconds when i press the "on" button .

very weird, i used NOD32 to scan , no virus thread.
hardware problems? PSU problems? motherboard?

any ideas?

My guess is disabling wake on lan in bios and windows. In windows under device manager, goto properties on your NIC then the advance tab. Should be property and set value to disable. Check bios as well.

what the wired thing is not everytime.

I have disable the wake on lan on bios, but don't know the default setting for windows.

gotta check it tonite.
