Two years ago, got tickets in two different cities here in Louisiana. One for parking in a handicap and one for expired inspection.

I never paid...then I got a notice in the mail from the DMV saying my license is suspended.

I know, stupid.

Fast forward to now: I'm a little less crazy now, and I want to fix it. Should I bother trying to pay them or just see a lawyer?

Huh? You have had a suspended license for a considerable length of time? And don't people get arrested for not paying tickets?

Yes, and I don't know do they? I could have a bench warrant I guess, but they were both non-moving violations.

yep happened to me when I was younger, I just had to pay the fines that I neglected, and 70 bucks for a new license. No need for legal counsel.

you should pay them and ask the DMV to reinstate your liscense for a fee of course....

A lawyer will cost you mucho dollars....only use a lawyer if they refuse to re-instate your liscense!!
