So having been in the WAR beta for the last couple of days, I genuinely think that this is going to be the next big thing. Granted, there are some nitpicky things that are still leftover to fix and of course, not everyone is going to like it.

If you're in the beta too, and you think it OMGSUXORS I WANTS TO PL4Y FINAL FANTASY ELERVUN! that's cool but I would appreciate it if you didn't crap all over the thread.

They have a little browser based game up to promote the game and I'm signed up for it. If you'd like, you can shoot me your email and I can send you an invite. It's kind of fun, in that "you don't really get to participate" sort of way 🙂 See for yourself at The Road to War.

Also, I've been thinking about getting a guild together with AT types...although I know lots of you already have your own guilds. What are some thoughts there?

Well, I'm leaning toward order at the moment. None of the Chaos classes really appeal to me and I think that Order is going to be very outnumbered come launch day.

I've been in the beta for a little bit now and I'd have to say that Black Orc is my favorite class.

Shaman is fun too. I really like the Greenskins though, because they're all goofy.

If the game gets good reviews, or if I get into the beta, I'll want to join up with an AT guild for sure. But... waiting till I get to try the game myself, hopefully I get to in beta. Don't want to buy the game and hate it during the free month.

I preordered the game yesterday, I would be interested in an AT guild as my RL friends are probably not going to buy it at launch.

I know how that is. My friends are glued to WoW. I got one, with the help of an unknown co-worker of his, to get Guild Wars, but haven't played that online with him yet.
And they sound pretty determined to not get into another MMO, even if it were better than WoW... and with my desire not to play WoW, I don't know if I'll ever get the chance to play an MMO with my friends. Kind of a bummer, because that can be what makes any MMO outstanding.

The word 'scrub' (calling someone a hospital gown?) never used.

Please tell me they're doing RP servers so I can recover from my WoW mistake of playing on a regular one full of idiots.
