This thread is just to see how many of ATOT support the war or not. This is just entirely just to see how many support or dont support the U.S/UK Military Action.

this war is a sham by someone attempting to legitimize himself and take the responsibility of the economy off his shoulders.

where's the damn WMD's that we were forced into this war for? it's been almost a month now since Bush's regime occupied iraq

oh wait, bush bait-and-switched us, this is for a regime change just because bush doesn't like him. lol

Umm nope - we've only "occupied" Iraq for a few days. We've been fighting the WAR for almost a month;) not had control of it.

The rest of your post is more irrational jibberish you seem to want to spew:confused:

Take a worldwide poll and you'll see majority of the world doesnt support the war.

I think that in another month this will change as well. They have been brain washed to think we were going to occupy. Once they find out the truth it will be a different story. Look how the (foreign)coverage has changed since they showed all of the people in Bagdad cheering.

Well since the majority of the world didn't fight the war i would say their opinion carries little or no weight.

Well let's hope we follow through. Bush and crew are already making provocative remarks towards Syria regarding helping Iraq, Sheltering Wanted Iraqi Leaders and for having WMD's.

If they feel that Americans are going support a war with Syria I think they have their heads in the clouds.

>this war is a sham by someone attempting to legitimize himself and take the responsibility of the economy off his shoulders.

The President and Congress do not control the US economy. The Federal Reserve messes with the economy by jacking around the money supply. The only positive economic effect a government can have is lowering taxes and reducing regulation.

>where's the damn WMD's that we were forced into this war for? it's been almost a month now since Bush's regime occupied iraq

The intelligence branches of the US government have determined that WMD are present. They are 1000 times better at this than the UN Saddam-suck-ups. You may recall Tony Blair stating in a face-to-face meeting of the EU that every one the members intelligence services knew about it. Then he looked each member in the eye in turn slowly. Yep, they knew.

But we should have gone into Iraq 8 years ago. There was only a cease-fire in the Gulf War, not an end. The cease fire was under several conditions which Saddam violated over and over. When it came to resuming the war, Clinton and the Democrats were appeasers. It is absurd to just let some one violate the conditions one more time, after they supposedly had eliminated WMD several times before.

>oh wait, bush bait-and-switched us, this is for a regime change just because bush doesn't like him. lol

So you were for this war before? But now you've changed your mind?

Take a worldwide poll and you'll see majority of the world doesnt support the war.

Anandtech polls are not limited to US users either, so you can count it as international poll.

I am surprised that 75% in here support US military action. That's even higher than CNN/MSNBC national polls.

damn straight! i posted a thread about 3 weeks ago asking this same question... where are the WMDs??? thats one of the main reasons we went to war... so where the f**k are they?!?!?! they had months to prepare their WMDs... all they had to do was watch cnn ( lol ) to see about where the troops were and then release the chemicals or the dirty bombs or the biologicals... so where are they????? OH, THEY NEVER HAD THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE
rolleye.gif
... ( to the extent that bush says they do... ) please dont try and tell me that this is for our protection and iraqi freedom... its a LIE! i dont care HOW HAPPY people in iraq are... kids and adults have died and been tortured for this lie... most people cant stand a headache... think about the REAL trauma these soldiers went through. and their families and the families of iraqi citizens who died so we could make them "free" ( again
rolleye.gif
) and keep the rest of the world, or at least us, "safe" from these faux WMD... its disgusting. bush is an evil dood :D:D:D:D:D

I would have loved to but they said i was to old. Not cuz i am american but maybe because it is my personal friends and family that are fighting over there. Three of the Kia are from my area. One of the young men i knew personally so you can take your "bloated sack of an opinion" whatever that is. preach it to high heaven for all i care. Unless your country is shedding the blood I personally don't see where your opinion means all that much to us. That is my opinion brought to you by all our servicemen that have shed their blood and given up their lives so that I could say it without fear of retribution.

That part of your statement right there sums up the feelings of a very big portion of the antiwar movement.

Most of them are just chomping at the bit to find something, anything to show how he was/is not a legit president and therefore should not have the ability to make decisions that you, or others who hate this administration are opposed to.

His decision to go to war mirrors that of Clinton in 98.

That is funny. Since when do we decide our own policies and actions based on what the rest of the world thinks.......

And by the way, where can I get one of those Asshat translators? I swear I can't make any sense out of half of the posts I see around here anymore.......;)
