Dodgers should just forfeit the rest of this game...down 8-2 in the 3rd. Now on something like their 4th pitcher, save your bullpen. Not that I'm complaining.

Giving Manny a pitch to mash didn't help either.

Unfreakingbelievable.. up 6 runs you DO NOT let Manny cut that lead in half.

Geezus, now they're saying Victorino's Grandma died today too! Heart goes out to both families, hope death doesn't come in 3's here.

There was two outs, it was strike 3 that got away and the batter got to first. Catch the pitch and it was out 3. What's complicated about that?

As long as neither Mitch Williams nor Joe Carter are playing in the World Series, I see the Phillies winning as inevitable... :p

Mitchie Poo (the fond nickname of Philly insiders) is now a beloved  commentator on CSN (Comcast), which carries all the Philles games any other local network doesn't, and which has an extended post game show following ALL Philles and Sixers and EAGLES post game shows.

The Eagles post game features our beloved Gov Ed Rendell, who is as real a politician as a person as you could ever want.

Philadelphia fans, in whichever professional sport, but even more historically in football and baseball, have been long renowned for their sophisticated understanding of the game, notwithstanding the old vet 700 football level and their tendency to beat up anyone daring to wear the jersey of another team to an Eagles game, not to mention historic Franklin Field. (U of P by the tracks and still hosting their games.)

Philly football fans cheered defense years and even decades before fans in many, many other cities did, 'tis inarguably true.
