My cousin's computer goes to the BSOD when starting up. Any ideas what this could be?

She is running Win XP Home on a Dell machine. Virus scan didn't turn anything up.

i'm about to run chkdsk using the XP disc, but is there anything else i should look for?

edit: chkdsk /p and fixboot worked like a charm 🙂
